Confirmation Handbook
summary by David Fagrey
This handbook, 303 pages in a spiral binder, is a complete four year (4 years of 32 weeks each) study course for 5th through 8th grade Catechism classes. It was compiled by several ministers for the purpose of assisting those who are new to the confirmation process as practiced by the RCUS. Lessons include instruction on Bible History, the Heidelberg Catechism, and key theological terms (such as 'repentance,' 'faith,' etc). There are also questions on church history, keyed to Kuiper's popular The Church in History. The forward by Rev. Robert Grossmann is an argument for catechetical instruction, and some practical tips on how to do it.
